We put Lumen (a professional dancer) in our studio and simply told her to freeform pose for as long as she liked with the idea of giving artists some interesting positions to draw or paint. We then ran a video camera and extracted one frame every second. Those photos were lightly developed to adjust lighting and color. To be clear, this is a collection of photos that were extracted from a 4k video. The video itself has all these frames and the movements in between.

The result was 280 photos, although many of them are repetitive and some will show motion blurring or be slightly out of focus. See the cover photos for thumbnail views of sample images.
