1000+ Royalty Free Portrait-style Photos

We shoot most of our Poses in-the-round.* Sometimes at the end, we will come in close and take a photo—or a few—of the head and shoulders creating a portrait view. Usually our motivation is a view that would make a nice painting that could be sold and hung in a home or gallery. Other times, we were thinking of practice. Also, some photos are taken from odd angles, multiple angles, or with the face in profile. So it's a variety.

The expressions usually tend to be pretty much all the same, just a natural relaxed face. Which is why these photos are not part of our Expressions pack. The collection features a variety of male and female models in a couple different styles of lighting.

Scrolling through the cover photos, you'll see samples taken somewhat at random (I chose every 5th photo). Please see those samples to get a feel for the contents. But remember it is only 1/5th of the total number of photos!

Things You Should Know
Because our models usually pose without clothes, some of these had to be cropped to create this safe-for-work collection—resulting in a low resolution. However because they were taken as dedicated close-ups, most are quite big with lots of detail. The largest photo is about 49 megapixels (huge). The smallest is about 2.4 MP (tiny) but the second lowest is 5.5 MP. And the median is about 25 MP (quite big).

If you want the uncropped versions, which are also unclothed, we will be posting them to our PoseSpace website in the Sessions shop. Some of these photos have appeared in other sets at PoseSpace, so if you have photos from there you might have some of these already.

If it turns out you don't like them, take advantage of our 20-day refund policy. We want you to be happy.

*- The model stands on a platform, we spin the platform and take a photo every 15 degrees for a total of 24 photos.
